Rodney’s Flare characteristics: Cultural excellence and operational efficiency.

Rodney is focused on building an IT and informatics capability from scratch that must be scalable, reliable, secure, performant, and cost-effective.

He has spent the past 20+ years envisioning and constructing petabyte-scale computing and storage infrastructure solutions to empower scientists at high growth biotech startups, Big Pharma, and AWS Enterprise customer environments.

As a longtime Somerville, MA resident, along with with his spouse, four children, and rambunctious Labradoodle, Rodney is a board member of the Somerville Youth Soccer League, a coach for the Massachusetts Town Select League program, and a semi-active deep house DJ in his spare time. When his kids get older, he hopes to return to homebrewing, distance running, gardening, and electronic music production.
