Claudia’s Flare Characteristics: Scientific curiosity leading to innovations that help patients; working together as a team to succeed in solving scientific challenges.

Claudia is a trained biochemist who connects molecular problems to cellular context, enjoying the big picture in a small world. At Flare, she hopes that her experience and passion for protein folding and function will help drive Flare’s biochemical programs, allowing the team to understand and develop new small molecule products that will help countless patients.

As an early member of the Ohana team, Claudia took part in paving the path to develop treatments in the male reproductive space. She led several programs in early discovery, focusing on biologics and cell separation technologies, as well as on building teams with potential for success.

Claudia and her family have ‘Wanderlust’ and love exploring and experiencing new places around the world. When at home, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and climbing, in addition to spending time with family and friends.
